Our WPE Peer Helpers will be holding a New Sock Drive for Curt's Closet Oct. 26-30. Please send new socks for those in need!

This Saturday, October 24th, The Duchess Bakery will offer one FREE plain glazed doughnut or cookie to any K-12 student who earned all A's or a combination of A's and B's on his or her most recent report card.

🎄 Parents, handprint ornament order forms are going home this week! You have two weeks to order the sweetest keepsake or Christmas gift for grandparents, aunts, uncles, and anyone who loves your little one! Those hands won’t stay little forever! Handprints will be made during school hours on November 6! All you have to do is return your order form and payment.. we’ll take care of the rest! No parent attendance or extra time needed. 🎨 $15 per ornament, order as many as you’d like! 📅 Return forms and exact cash payment in an envelope to your child’s teacher by November 4. 🎁 Finished ornaments will be delivered to the school before Christmas break! Get a little Christmas shopping done while supporting our wonderful West Point Elementary PTO! ❤️

Mrs. Looney's Class was the first class to complete the Mr Potato Head Challenge! They celebrated 10 days of perfect attendance with a potato chip party today. We can't wait to see who completes the challenge next!

We will celebrate Rock Your School on Friday! We are turning up the engagement and using creative ways to bring learning to LIFE for our students at WPE.Wear your rock apparel!

September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we’re making attendance FUN at WPE! Each day that EVERY student in a homeroom is present, the class will earn another piece to add to their Potato Head! Once a class completes their Potato Head, they’ll celebrate with a potato chip party! Every day matters. Every student matters. Every minute matters. Let’s show up, learn, grow, and WALK LIKE A WARRIOR! Also, 2nd grade had the highest attendance percentage in August with 97.06%! They will celebrate with a popsicle party next week.

WPE raised $162 for United Way!

Homecoming Week is coming up Sept 21-25! Here are our WPE dress up days. The parade will be Thursday, Sept.24. We hope you will join us for a fun time!

Mrs. Smith’s, Mrs. Farley’s, and Mrs. Wren’s sweet kiddos were all smiles hosting their favorite visitors today and hunting for treasures together at the book fair. Nothing beats watching our youngest learners share their classrooms with the people they love most! Thank you, grandfriends, for bringing so much joy to our school family!

Our halls were filled with big smiles today as Mrs. Lee’s and Mrs. Miles’ classes welcomed special visitors for Grandparents Day! The kiddos loved showing off their classrooms and finding new stories together at the book fair.Thank you to all our amazing grandfriends for making today so unforgettable!
