The United Way and Mary Carter's are hosting a Winter Warmth Drive! WPE will be partnering with them and will have a drop off outside the office in the hall from now through the end of January for students/staff to drop off coats and blankets to be donated.

Our Spelling Bee contestants did a phenomenal job this morning! Bea Shaw was crowned the Bee Champion, and Mason Nunnelley was named Runner Up. Congratulations to all our participants!



We are kicking off our canned food drive! Be sure to send in nonperishable items to benefit Cullman Caring for Kids, Curt's Closet, and the Pantry.

We've set up team buckets in the main hallway to decide the Iron Bowl winner: Alabama or Auburn! Students can vote starting tomorrow by dropping spare change into the bucket corresponding to their pick. Every coin is a vote and helps support West Point Elementary!

Say BOO to drugs! Students will be allowed to wear their costumes on Friday. No masks please.

Make plans to join us next week for our Fall Festival! We will have JJ's and Fro's on campus for parents and students to enjoy along with lots of games and fun activities. Be sure to send $5 with your child.

Red Ribbon Week is coming up next week! Also, student will have a Remote Learning Day on Monday, October 27.

We will celebrate the 50th day of school Wednesday! Be sure to wear your 50s attire.
